The uks infrastructure cannot cope and if this is not stopped civil unrest or worse will result. What really gets my goat is that these people are jumping the queue. I lived and worked in the Middle East where I had my eyes well and truly opened. Most do not understand the ways of the west with many actually hating us mainly for our unwise involvement in their wars. Many will ruthlessly lie through their back teeth to get what they want so it does not surprise me that they lie about their age. And before anyone pulls the racist card on me , I have worked with true refugees and advocated positively on their behalf where appropriate. But the situation is desperate and desperate situations call for desperate measures. Sadly that will involve taking a harder line.
